Roselyn Akombe, who is the former IEBC (Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission) commissioner mourns over her colleague Chris Musando who was the former boss of technology at the commission and was brutally murdered.
Chris Musando was IEBC`s ICT (Information Communication and Technology) manager. He was born on the 28th of December in 1972 and would have been celebrating today the occasion of his 47th birthday.
Chris was murdered gruesomely a few days before the 2017 general elections.
Akombe says that her colleague Musando was murdered to silence him after he had sworn that he would be upholding the integrity during the general elections of 2017.
She continued saying that he would have turned 47 on this very day and would have been celebrating with his family and would have been preparing for the upcoming year ahead.
In a tweet, she mentioned that he, in order to safeguard the integrity of the general elections, sacrificed his life.
As it has previously been reported that the remains of Musando were found in Nairobi outskirts on the 28th of July, 2017 on Friday, which was only 10 days before general elections.
He was later buried in the Siaya home on the 19th of August, 2017.
Ever since the death of her colleague Akombe has been hoping for justice for her dear friend and anticipating the moment when the DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investigations) will look into the matter of Musando`s death.
Akombe learned from history, resigned from IEBC and in order to seek justice flew to the United States secretly and from there she has been attacking the filth that prevails in the IEBC.
