Country Singer Joe Diffie passes away due to Covid -19 complications 

Joe Diffie, a legend of country music, passed away from coronavirus complications. He was 61. Joe was a Grammy winner and had been associated for a long time with Grand Ole Opry member. 

Joe’s death has sent shockwaves in the community. Travis Tritt, Joe’s friend and touring partner, took to Twitter to express his grief saying “This comes as a huge shock to all of us in the country music community. We had a lot of great times together, both onstage and offstage,” Tritt wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the two performings. “This is one of my favourite photos of Joe Diffie and me onstage together. This photo hangs in my office to this day. #ripjoediffie I will never forget you!”

Some of his best tracks were “Pickup Man” and “John Deere Green.” He was played at every bonfire, parking lot, tailgate, and jukebox. A popular artist who was loved by many, Joe is a legend.

Coronavirus has claimed 2,606 in the US till now. Though the USA has not locked down till now, the country is facing a huge problem. The US currently has 145,099 infected people and today 24 new deaths were reported.
